The mission of Photography program is to prepare graduates for entry-level positions leading to photographic careers in advertising, illustration, public relations, documentary, portraiture, fashion, food, studio, photojournalism, biomedical, industrial, newspaper, editorial, pre-press and digital imaging. Strong conceptual and technical knowledge is the foundation of the curriculum accentuating a powerful and cohesive final body of work. Emphasis is placed on the development of fundamental industry skills needed to produce compelling imagery, communication and business skills appropriate to market needs, and the development of the student's personal vision as an artist. |
