Kara Pratt is New HR Director
NEW HUMAN RESOURCES DIRECTOR NAMED
AT THE ART INSTITUTE OF CHARLOTTE
CHARLOTTE, NC – Kara K. Pratt of Atlanta has been named Director of Human Resources for The Art Institute of Charlotte, President Brad L. Janis announced today. Pratt has been the Assistant Director of Human Resources at The Art Institute of Atlanta. She assumed her new role in Charlotte on March 15.
“I am very pleased Kara has accepted this crucial position,” Janis said. “She combines experience in the HR field with solid knowledge of The Art Institute system, both of which will be greatly beneficial as we continue to seek faculty and staff to serve our students with the best, most up-to-date education and career training.”
A graduate of the University of Kentucky, Pratt has served as an Assistant Director of Admissions, Admissions Coordinator and New Student Advisor at The Art Institute of Atlanta. She also was a Career Services Advisor for the National Center for Paralegal Training. She joined The Art Institute of Atlanta’s Human Resources Department as HR Coordinator. Since June 2002, Pratt has been Assistant Director of HR.
Pratt is a member of SHRM, the national organization for human resources professionals and is working towards completing her Certification as a PHR.
