Fashion merchandising is the business that moves the world's fashions from designers' showrooms to retail sales floors and into the hands of consumers. The Bachelor of Science degree in Fashion Merchandising at The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale takes a well-rounded approach to fashion offering an expanded curriculum that allows students to develop the needed knowledge and skills in business, product development, consumer behavior, technology sales merchandising, fashion, and design. The Fashion Merchandising program prepares its students in all these areas for entry-level positions such as buyers, stylists, merchandisers, special events coordinators, visual merchandisers, as well as positions in management and sales promotion. The length of the program is twelve (12), eleven (11) week quarters. |
