Our talented faculty will enhance your inherent creativity and prepare you for an entry-level position in graphic design. You will learn how to draw attention to your message and how to reach a desired target audience. You will also discover which mediums contribute to the effectiveness of your message, combining your digital skills with traditional skills of illustration.
Do you want your message to scream or be subtle? You choose by selecting your type, designing your layout, and creating your finished product. From pixels to pens to paintbrushes, you will have innovative tools at your fingertips to create the message and the graphics.

Number of Quarters 6 Number of Credits 90 Tuition $421 per credit Enrollment Fee $150 Tuition and fees effective November 1, 2006 Miami International University of Art & Design (the university) agrees not to increase the per credit hour tuition charge for the duration of the program provided that the student does all of the following: submits the enrollment agreement before expiration of the offered tuition rate; starts class on or before the quarter starting date of the agreement; completes their education within 150% of the standard program length in quarters; completes their program without interruptions, including voluntary withdrawal, suspension or termination. Bachelors Degree students are allowed one quarter off during the course of their program. Exceptions to this policy may be made only for medical reasons and must be requested in writing from the Miami International University of Art & Design President at the time of the occurrence.
Effective October 8, 2005, enrollment fee of $150 is required. This includes a non-refundable $50 application fee. The $100 enrollment fee is refundable only if the enrollment is canceled more than 90 days prior to the individual student's start date. |
