Clothes may make the man or woman, but accessories make the clothes by adding the finishing touches to any outfit. In the fast-paced major of Accessory Design, you will study, design, and construct jewelry, shoes, handbags, belts, and hats of the highest professional quality. You will also study fashion trends and learn to predict what the new 'IT' item will be for upcoming seasons.

The fashion accessories industry is constantly evolving. Currently the industry itself is worth over $25 billion dollars in the United States alone. As a student studying Accessory Design, you will learn to research buying trends, in addition to studying styling, gemology, and textiles for all accessories, culminating with your final class project where you choose your area of specialization to develop a collection.

Upon graduation, you will be prepared to enter the exciting world of accessory design, a vital and lucrative entity of the fashion industry
