Our comprehensive program in Visual Arts will teach you to communicate your vision through painting, a time-honored language of the senses.
Just as a poet uses words to communicate ideas, your artistic vocabulary will be expressed through paint, canvas, and clay to build a strong foundation and ensure a lasting creation. Our first year will introduce you to basic drawing, figure drawing, and two and three-dimensional design. This foundation will prepare you to succeed in your pursuit of basic and advanced topics in painting. Our faculty consists of active, exhibiting artists who are dedicated to sharing their knowledge of art to new generations of art-makers.
Based on an understanding of the history and tradition of painting, our Visual Arts program will give your work the depth and resonance necessary to enable you to begin your career as an artist in today's world. |
