About Me:
Biography

I have always been known for my creative soul. My passion to create led me through an eventful childhood filled with curiosity and exploration.

In the duration of my education, I have explored many of my artistic talents including drawing, painting, illustration, and design. I began challenging myself, at North Mecklenburg High School, to master the techniques of fine art, which I came to find a very large endeavor. After spending four years developing and honing my skills, I graduated from high school and was presented with the dilemma of choosing the educational path I wanted to pursue. Shying away from the struggles of being a fine artist, I decided to combine my talents of creativity and skills in fine arts to become a graphic designer.

I attended The Art Institute of Charlotte and obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design. My work is a strong representation of my passion to create and respect for the fine arts. I continue to appease my curiosity and need for exploration through my work and education.

Design Speaks

"The problems of the world cannot possibly be solved by skeptics or cynics whose horizons are limited by the obvious realities. We need men who can dream of things that never were."
John F. Kennedy

I don't like to write. I do not like trying to communicate under the limitations of language. I want to express myself the way I know best.

Design is one of the most primitive yet profound forms of communication. Ideas and thoughts communicated through colors, shapes, and arrangements. I choose to be a graphic designer so I can speak to people through my work and through my visions. I take an idea and share it to the world without saying a word. I tell people what I think without opening my mouth. I express myself on an empty canvas.

Design allows me to release my creativity. I create work that reflects who I am and what I think. I communicate through art and I dream through art.

Designing is my escape.

"Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once he grows up."
Pablo Picasso
