About Me:
Looking back to as far as I can remember art has always been a huge part of my life. Throughout the years I have had experience with multiple mediums and types of art including: watercolors, acrylic paints, ink drawings, pastels, clay sculptures, screen-printing, life drawing, and photo collage to name a few. I already knew that fine art was a passion of mine and when I discovered that I could create art in a digital form this opened up many doors for me. My passion for creating and analyzing was what led me to the career path of Graphic Design. It wasn't until coming to The Art Institute that I began to understand about why I was creating art. I knew how to make things look pleasing, but I was unaware of the theory and history behind it all. I discovered how to use color, shape and space in order to create visually stimulating designs. I also came to love typography which was a new element for me. One of the reasons I enjoy what I do so much is because at the end of the day I get to sit back and look at what I have produced, which gives me a lot of satisfaction. My desire for creating has only become stronger and I learn new things everyday. Another reason why I am inspired by being artistic is that with art there are infinite possibilities of what you can create. I think that's why I never enjoyed math much because there is only one right answer. With art you can't necessarily be wrong, but you definitely know when you've done something right.
