About Me:
My passion for the fashion industry has been the leading force in relation to my career goals. With an eye for merchandising, I have been able to add real-world experience to my passion. While working on the Brand Guide team at Victoria Secret doing window displays and product placement I learned how to apply merchandising techniques to catch consumer's attention. Analyzing data and numbers is another strength of mine. Three years of retail experience has given me a chance to analyze trends, sales, and consumer behavior. Being a retail manager for a year has provided me more responsibility and knowledge. I have learned how to schedule employees with given hours, distinguish top selling merchandise, manage a goal-driven team, and consistantly communicate to a district manager.

Hard working, punctual, and persistent with great personal skills; I can successfully create a teamwork environment. I enjoy taking initiative in any situation. I am also proficient in POS systems and a wide a variety of computer programs, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and PowerPoint.

Fashion Marketing and Management is a career that holds many opportunities that encompass a wide range of talent. I enjoy being up-to-date on the latest and hottest trend while analyzing what and why consumers buy what they wear. My education, skills, and experience will create a place for me in the fashion world.

In order to create goals, one must have a strong ambition to be successful. My short term goal is to get my foot in the door in the fashion world. A company where learning and application of knowledge is viewed as integral parts to a successful start in fashion. Upon graduation I want to be working as either a Visual Merchandiser or an Assistant Buyer for a well-known boutique or department store. The merchandising field will lead me to a Creative Presentation Coordinator position, then as a Director of Creative Presentation. The Assistant Buyer route will allow me to move up to a Buying position in a major department store. From there I would like to advance up the ladder to a Senior Buyer. The most important goal, short or long, is to find a place where I enjoy going to work on a daily basis.

In conclusion, striving for the best outcomes in any situation, is a critical component of my philosophy. My hardwork is shown through my portfolio. Below is a quote that reflects my philosophy and portfolio which sets me apart from others.

"Good is not good where better is expected." Thomas Fuller
