About Me:
growing up in germany allowed me to travel extensively and experience the diversity of european culture and architecture, which i believe instilled in me a passion for art, aesthetics, design and the environment. i began my artistic journey in 1998, when i studied professional photography at the western academy of photography. after my completion, the desire to explore art further led me to the visual arts diploma program at camosun college in victoria. this program stretched my imagination to the core and led me believe anything is possible if you put your mind to it. i began creating art to visually enhance my own environment, instead of purchasing art i would create diverse pieces that were visually pleasing and that corresponded well to its surrounding. i have always been someone who is affected by her environment and therefore strive to create a sanctuary that is well-balanced, harmonious, and uncluttered. with my passion for the environment i hope to pursue studies in sustainable design, so i can facilitate the creation of non-toxic, well-balanced environments and contribute in the conservation of our planet.
